While this day is a day to recognize and rejoice the fathers in our lives (Happy Father’s Day to you!), it’s also a solemn day for those who no longer have a dad on this earth.
While this is our first year with that reality (as shown in the pictures) we can rest in the fact that we have a heavenly Father who is taking care of us and loves us.
“I will be a father to you, and you shall be sons and daughters to me, says the Lord Almighty.” 2 Corinthians 6:18
He was an amazing dad who didn’t take any moment for granted. He (unknowingly) taught many by his example by being a good, Christ following father. While there is a huge hole in our hearts this Father’s Day, missing Daddy, we know that THE Father is holding us in His arms, comforting us.
